Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO)

A diplomat with substantial legal experience within the fields of international finance, investment and trade law.

Laurence is the Commercial Attaché at the Jamaican High Commission, London and European Regional Manager for Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), the Government of Jamaica trade and investment promotional agency. He promotes and facilitates foreign direct investment projects in Jamaica by European investors, with an emphasis on real estate, energy, port and multimodal logistics projects.

Laurence holds a masters degree in International and Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham, designated World Trade Specialist. He is a member of Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar of England and Wales. Laurence practiced as an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica where he represented multinational corporations doing business in Jamaica. Laurence is also a Freeman of the City of London.
