Peter is the Country Managing Partner for Thailand. He moved to Asia in 1996 and has been in Thailand for 10 years. He has assisted investors in relation to their business expansion and investment in ASEAN countries.
During his time in Thailand and through his connections with the British Embassy and the British Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok, Peter has assisted companies in setting up business in Thailand, working with his Thai colleagues who are experienced in all aspects of corporate and the regulatory framework. Thailand offers many opportunities but the law can be complex, since setting up a company by buying a “shelf” company is not possible. There are tax, labour and work permit issues to consider. Peter has a wide range of knowledge in these areas and works closely with his Thai colleagues to provide a full service to clients wishing to set up a business in Thailand.
