The company was founded in 2006 by David Slinger and Cassandra McAlpine who are co-directors, and has grown over the years to employ a team of staff that have very many years of experience in trade finance. Some come from the banking sector, some have learned their skills over years spent working at Synergy.

We are experts in the field of letters of credit and can produce shipping documents under LC’s and present to the bank for payment. We have an unrivalled track record in this regard, and our meticulous and methodical approach gives our clients complete confidence in our ability to ensure that payment is made promptly.

If you are not the manufacturer of the goods, we are able to use the export letter of credit as security, to enable us to issue our own letter of credit to the supplier or create pre-shipment finance.

Synergy also provides invaluable support to UK importers by financing the purchase of goods from suppliers to bridge the funding gap until payments are received from customers.
