Carol leads all aspects of Metro Bank's People function, with a focus on developing diverse talent and capability across every level to build on Metro Bank's unique culture.

Motivated by inspiring people to be their best so that they can deliver brilliant customer experience, she is passionate about creating inclusive environments where culture, customers and colleagues come together to make a positive difference.

Before joining Metro Bank in 2020 Carol was HR Director of Centrica's consumer businesses, responsible for the People agenda in consumer brands; British Gas, Hive, Direct Energy in the US and Bord Gais in Ireland. Her focus was on business transformation, organization development and culture change 'for the customer'. Prior to that she held leadership roles across a number of sectors in the UK and internationally.

Carol has a track record of challenging norms and innovating to deliver strategic people programmes.
